Ambassador Mridul Kumar hosted Swiss, Liechtenstein and Norwegian senior government officials to celebrate the signing of India - EFTA TEPA at India House on 26 March 2024

To mark the recent signing of India – European Free Trade Association (EFTA) Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement (TEPA), a landmark in India economic ties with Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland (EFTA States). Ambassador Mridul Kumar held a joyous celebrations and hosted Swiss Federal Councillor Guy Parmelin, and senior Swiss, Liechtenstein and Norway government officials, captains of industry & fellow diplomatic colleagues at the India House on 26 March 2024.

At the celebratory dinner, Swiss Federal Councillor Guy Parmelin described the signing of EFTA TEPA as very significant step to bring India – EFTA States economies together for common prosperity of its people and opening doors for boundless cooperation possibilities.
