On 13 October 2025, First Secretary Ms. Veena Tirkey welcomed and received Prof. Ajay Kumar Sood, Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India, on his arrival in Zurich for three-days’ visit to Switzerland. Prof. Sood is leading the Indian delegation to the Geneva Science and Diplomacy Anticipator (GESDA) Global Summit, which focuses on strengthening the interface between science and diplomacy to anticipate and address global challenges.
