Broadcast of Chalo India Campaign at Embassy of India, Berne on 07 March 2024

Embassy of India, Berne organized the broadcast launch of Chalo India Global Diapora Campaign by Hon'ble PM at Chancery on March 7, 2024. The Indian Diaspora in Switzerland and Liechtenstein also joined the broadcast. With more than 3 crore overseas Indians, the Indian diaspora serves as a powerful catalyst for Indian tourism, acting as India’s Cultural Ambassadors. In the spirit of Jan Bhagidari for an Atulya and Viksit Bharat and based on the clarion call of the Hon’ble Prime Minister of asking Indian diaspora members to encourage at least 5 non-Indian friends to travel to India. The Ministry of Tourism has launched the Chalo India Global Diaspora Campaign to provide a platform to the Indian diaspora members become Incredible India ambassadors by registering themselves on the Chalo India portal. The initiative is planned to be rolled out globally in phases through a dedicated Chalo India website and promotional campaign.
