Celebration of ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’ and observance of ‘Partition Horrors Remembrance Day’ at Chancery on 14 August 2023

Ambassador Mridul Kumar led the ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’ celebrations in Chancery on 14 August 2023, culminating the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations in Switzerland. The event included Flag hoisting, singing of national anthem, digital narration of stories of Unsung Heroes, videos showcasing ‘Meri Mitti Mera Desh’ . ‘Partition Horrors Remembrance Day’ was also observed in memory of those who lost their lives in the horrors of partition & suffered the pain of displacement.
