Introductory Session on Swiss VET System by SFUVET on 02 February 2023

In an initiative to learn the landscape, permeability and adaptability of the highly successful Vocational Education and Training System of Switzerland, the Embassy of India, Berne, held a discussion with Mr Purav Panchal, Scientific collaborator at Swiss Federal university for Vocational Education and Training.

The discussion was focused on the SWISS VET system and its success factors and revolved around Entry and Exit levels in the VET system, the role of Government, Private sectors and Associations in curriculum design, funding and running the whole system.

It also covered a detailed overview of the Swiss education system, including Kindergarten, Primary Level, Lower-Secondary Level, Upper Secondary Level, Gymnasium, Vocational school, Baccalaureate school, Upper-Secondary specialized schools and Tertiary Level (Universities).
