Durga Puja celebrated in Zurich Durga Puja, organised by SwissPuja, was celebrated in Zurich. Starting in 2004, the Puja has grown into a big event in the calendar of the Indian Diaspora. This year more than 4000 people attended the four days of festivities. A number of cultural activities were organised with the Indian community actively participating. The highlight of each day’s program was the serving of Bhog (festival meal) twice a day to more than 400 people. The popularity of this event is seen in that many Swiss attend it with equal enthusiasm.
