Official Indian participation at WEF The Indian delegation led by Mr. P. Chidambaram, Honble Minister for Finance attended World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting in Davos held from January 22-25, 2014 The delegation included Mr. Anand Sharma, Honble Minister of Commerce & Industry; Mr. Kamal Nath, Honble Minister of Parliamentary Affairs and Urban Development, Mr. M.S. Ahluwalia, Honble Deputy Chairman of the Planning Commission, Mr. Prithviraj Chavan , Honble Chief Minister of Maharashtra and Mr. Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, Honble Minister of State for Power (I/C) . As always, a large Indian Inc. delegation was present at WEF. India Addaset up by India Brand Equity Foundation (IBEF) was an attraction in Davos with several Indian and foreign delegates visiting. It was also venue for several bilateral meetings. On 24th January, 2014, Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) hosted an India Reception which was well attended. Mr. Anand Sharma, Honble CIM had a bilateral meeting with his Swiss counterpart Mr. Schneider Ammann, on 22nd January in Davos during which the progress of India-EFTA was discussed.
