Workshop “India: New Perspectives for Swiss Trade" focused on India-EFTA TEPA, in Lugano, 17 April 2026

On 17 April 2026, Embassy of India, Berne in collaboration with its valued partners City of Lugano, Chamber of Commerce Ticino, and Swiss Fair Trade Association organized a workshop “India: New Perspectives for Swiss Trade" focused on India-EFTA TEPA, and opened an engaging and knowledge building session for industry and investors interested in exploring business opportuni-ties in India. Ambassador opened the dialogue with key highlights of TEPA, deep rooted, longstand-ing India -Swiss bilateral relations, scale and substantial opportunities of aspirational and young In-dia for Swiss companies.
The discussion further continued at “India: New Perspectives for Swiss Trade“ workshop, as Ms. Monica Zurfluh, Head of International Trade, Chamber of Commerce Ticino beautifully articulated India as a strategic alliance for Swiss investments to harness the benefits of TEPA along with other schemes and incentives offered by GoI to global business community. Prof. Marco Casanova, Direc-tor, ESG Center of Excellence in his remarks praised India’s progress in CSR and ESG, how customs culture and character help build strong business relationships, and shared that working with India is a journey of personal growth and valuable experiences.
