Notice on travelling with new Passport for OCI Card holders

NOTICE
As per the recent amendments in OCI policy, OCI cardholders are required to update their passport details in the OCI system, each time after issuance of new passport.
- There shall be no restrictions on the OCI cardholders to travel to/from India during the period between issuance of new passport and the final acknowledgment of the updated documents in the online system. However, OCI cardholders are advised to carry both their old and new passports, while travelling to India on the basis of their OCI cards to facilitate smooth immigration/passport control procedures.
