On 18 April 2026, Ambassador addressed the insightful session on 'Indian wellness' in Lugano with co-panelists Mr. Shivi Gupta, co-founder of VedicLab and Mr. Pietro Leemann, Michelin-starred vegetarian chef during "India: Chai and Change event.

Ambassador highlighted how India's timeless wellness like Yoga and Ayurveda offer a holistic way of living, rooted in harmony between body, mind, and nature. These traditions emphasize balance, mindful living, and daily discipline as the foundation of true wellbeing. In today’s fast-paced world of constant change and rising stress, these ancient practices are finding renewed resonance with modern science. They continue to offer practical pathways toward resilience, clarity, and inner calm — benefiting individuals and societies alike."

Ambassador had an interview at the Corriere del Ticino, a popular regional daily newspaper in the Canton of Ticino, Switzerland, and reflected on sensitivities and the richness of contemporary cultures—on the sidelines of the two-day event titled “India: The Flavor of Chai and Change” (17–18 Apr 2026, Lugano). Engaging discussions highlighted India-Swiss partnerships, as well as the shared values and similarities between the two countries—opening avenues for deeper dialogue, stronger collaboration, and greater mutual appreciation, while bringing diverse cultural perspectives into meaningful conversation.

Also, Ambassador had an interview on RSI (Radiotelevisione svizzera di lingua italiana), Switzerland’s public radio & television broadcaster, highlighted India-Swiss ties, during the special event “India: The Flavor of Chai & Change” held in Lugano. Reflecting on India-EFTA TEPA, expanding economic cooperation, and the power of culture, music & the arts, the interview underscores how collaboration is evolving beyond trade into deeper people-to-people connections.
