2nd Anniversary of the Signing of the historic India-EFTA TEPA, 10.03.2026
On 10 March 2026, the Embassy of India in Bern commemorates two years since the signing of the historic India-EFTA Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement on 10 March 2024—an agreement that has elevated trade, investment, and strategic partnership to new heights. With a forward-looking commitment of USD 100 billion in investments, the creation of 1 million jobs over 15 years, and significant tariff concessions, TEPA continues to boost trade, accelerate investment flows, and facilitate business between India and the EFTA States. It stands as a model partnership for growth, innovation, and shared prosperity.
Two years ago, India and the EFTA countries—Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, and Liechtenstein—made history by signing this landmark agreement in New Delhi, opening a new chapter in economic cooperation. From signature to implementation, the journey reflects a shared commitment to trade, investment, innovation, and sustainable growth.
