The Embassy's Yoga Journey reached the Swiss capital Berne on 17 June 2026, where enthusiastic participation from members of the Indian diaspora, yoga practitioners and local community members marked another successful celebration of the 12th International Day of Yoga.

The programme commenced with welcome remarks by Deputy Chief of Mission Shri Anoop Dhingra, who welcomed participants and highlighted yoga's role in promoting holistic well-being and harmony.

The event featured an engaging yoga session that brought participants together in a shared experience of mindfulness, physical well-being and community spirit.

A special highlight of the programme was the Ayurveda Lounge, showcasing Ayurvedic nutrition (Ayurvedic Aahar), traditional remedies, Ayurvedic spices, medical tourism opportunities and information on diabetes management through Ayurveda. The event concluded with light refreshments and networking among participants.
