The Government of India announces with profound sorrow the demise of Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, former Prime Minister of India on August 16, 2018 at New Delhi.

As a mark of respect to the departed leader, seven day State mourning will be observed in India from August 16, 2018 to August 22, 2018.

A Condolence Book has been kept open at 'India House' at Brunnadernrain 7, CH-3006, Berne on the following days:

Friday, 17th August 2018 1000 - 1600 hrs

Saturday, 18th August 2018 1000 - 1200 hrs

Monday, 20th August 2018 1000 - 1600 hrs
