The Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Convention (PBD) is being held in Bangalure from 7-9 January 2017.  


For the First time in PBD, an online B2B/B2G Meeting Platform for
 Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Convention 2017 has been made live.  The objective of this web platform is to
 provide delegates with an interactive web application which enables them to pre-schedule
appointments online with Registered Delegates, Exhibitors, Government Officials and Foreign Dignitaries.

1. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) (Economic Diplomacy Division) and NITI Aayog (Atal Innovation Mission) are jointly organizing the National Contest on Social Innovation. The Contest shall identify and showcase 25 best socially relevant and scalable Innovations at the forthcoming Pravasi Bhartiya Divas 2017 at Bengaluru. 

2. Atal Innovation Mission & MEA in association with MyGov have launched the contest. Details and application form for the contest can be accessed at the linkhttps://innovate.mygov.in/social-innovation-contest/

3. This Embassy requests and encourages you to participate by sending in your applications highlighting your Innovations, on or before December 5, 2016.

4. The top 25 innovators would be invited to exhibit their innovations at the Pravasi Bhartiya Divas celebrations. The MEA shall also facilitate the creation of a community of innovators, entrepreneurs, investors, grant bodies, and mentors to support the selected startups for commercialization and scale up.
