The Passport Act, 1967 has completed 50 years of its enactment on 23rd June 2017.  To mark this occasion, a function was held at Jawaharlal Nehru Bhawan, New Delhi during Passport Officer’s Conference and Passport Seva Divas 2017, on 23rd June 2017.  During this event, a special stamp commemorating the completion of 50 years of Passport Act, 1967 was released in the august presence of Smt. Sushma Swaraj, External Affairs Minister, Shri Manoj Sinha, MoS (Independent Charge) Communications, Gen. (Dr.) V.K. Singh (Retd), MoS External Affairs, Shri M.J. Akbar, MoS External Affairs and other distinguished guests.
