About Us Know India Programme(KIP)

The Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, New Delhi is organizing “Know India Programmes” (KIP), which is a three-week orientation programme for diaspora youth, with a view to promote awareness on different facets of life in India and the progress made by the country in various fields e.g. economic, industrial, education, science & technology, communication & information Technology, culture. KIP provide a unique forum for students & young professionals of Indian origin to visit India, share their views, expectations & experiences and to develop closer bonds with the group of 18-30 years to strengthen engagement with young overseas Indians. KIP will be for duration of 25 days, of which participants will spend nearly 10 days in a select State as per following details:

KIP is the Ministry's flagship initiative for engagement with young overseas Indians. 
The guidelines of the programme are available at http://kip.gov.in/home/guidelines and application can be submitted online by the overseas Indians till 19th November, 2017 at http://kip.gov.in.  The applicants can indicate their preferences online for any KIPs and best effort would be made to accommodate them in the KIP of their first preference.
